In 「#coopoflove」, food is the carrier to exchange a message of love
If we could see the Internet data traffic flowing through the sky, the skies would most certainly be filled with ones and zeros, especially after 2020. The movement of people have stopped, and the volume of Internet traffic has only increased. According to browsing data, the number of searches for “How to make the environment better?” and “The nearest supermarket next to me,” is at a twenty year high.
If there was an imaginary data receiver at a fixed location, collecting all the traffic at a given moment. What would be the sum result of all the data traffic gathered? It would be a flow of information, it would be an exchange of emotion, and it would be love.

When we talk about FAITH, generally speaking, it is a vessel of hope, containing unforgettable prayers. Through rituals, people exchange messages, store hope, and spread love. During the Creative Expo 2021, 「#coopoflove」(Co-op of Love) has two parts—online and offline. It is a two-section platform that recreates a stigmergy through food using cultural, generational, and disciplinary perspectives.
In 「#coopoflove」, food is used as a carrier to exchange a message of love.
Participants can visit the virtual kitchen at any given time and place, and explore, roam, and exchange information. After completing the online task, participants will receive a redeemable label. In the limited 10 days, participants can redeem the label through「#coopoflove」at the Creative Expo for food or drink based on the corresponding label.
Each team will be on duty for two consecutive days, so if participants exchange the same label on different days, they will get a different meal created by a different team. The transformation of language is a main theme of this project. Language includes transmission and reception and in reality, conversational language changes over time. This results in a difference in understanding between cultures and misconceptions supported by cultural backgrounds.

Slow Food Design was founded in Taipei by Slow Chen after returning to Taiwan in 2017. The projects carried out usually include exhibitions and event planning, using food as the spotlight. We collaborate with many professionals and creators not only in the culinary industry, but also in creative fields. These collaborators include chefs, bartenders, interior designers, interactive designers, and graphic designers, who together create an end user experience, develop concepts, and discuss food issues.
At the end of 2020, we expanded our horizons to include food production and design, creating “L O U U”, a preserved food brand which is a combination of the creative and food industries. We believe in endless possibilities, especially in these dire times.
